Do you need a place to talk to other moms from our church and community about everyday life and parenting issues? Do you need a place to have adult conversations while your children are lovingly cared for? Do you need a network of information sharing about local resources for children? Do you want to make some new friends? If so, you need to attend Moms Group.
Moms Group exists to support and encourage moms with young children.
Moms Group meets each Wednesday morning at the church when the Seattle Public Schools are in session. Throughout the school year we study parenting books and videos in small groups and listen to speakers on a variety of topics.
While the moms meet, the children are well cared for in the nursery and preschool rooms. The infants and one-year-olds have playtime, snack time and lots of love from our childcare workers. The two-year-olds through preschool have a planned lesson (including stories, crafts, coloring, games and songs), snack time, playtime, and holiday parties.
During the summer months Moms Group meets at parks throughout our community.
